Ai Experiments

I’ve been using ai for about three years now. I’ve experimented with character consistency, music, video gen and more. I started with Runway.ml, which was one of the first platforms and now I’ve used: Higgsfield, Midjourney, EB Synth, Stable Diffusion, Suno, Leo, Kling, Seedance, Veo 3, Chat GPT, Claude, Eleven Labs, Vizcom, Krea, Whisk and Kits.ai.

Illustration animated and lip sync with ai.

This is a rough animatic-style concept video where I used ai to create images and short video sequences to see how quickly I could make a concept for a short story.

I wrote a  short story and used Eleven Labs to create a voiceover. Then I created each image in Midjourney and created video clips using various platforms (Midjourney,  Kling, Leonardo, Higgsfield). This clip has a bunch of gaps with missing footage removed so it’s very rough but you can see how the clips and the story would work together. The biggest problem with ai gen video is character consistency. Things have changed since I made this (Summer 2025) so I might revisit it again to see if i can fill in the missing sections and make the character look the same in each sequence.

These are ai concepts created for a short called “Sick of Cute.” I plan on coming up with a better title. It was inspired by the Warthog from Hell in Raising Arizona who rode down the highway throwing granades at cute little bunnies. This young girl is traveling in a post-society wasteland destroying cut ethings because they make her think of the old world and they attract monsters that like to consume cute things.

It was always a silly concept but now with ai I can explore it without spending to much time and money to see if I want to develop it further.

AI Experiments

I’m not as worried about the use of AI as some people are. I do believe training the LLMs on artists’ IP should be compensated. I like to use AI as a tool to enhance my personal work. I usually have it transform one of my drawings, clone my voice, or make a presentation video like this one. For this example I used the Hey Gen platform to clone my voice and I created an avatar that (sorta) looks like me. It’s not perfect, though. Look at that crooked lens!
