Science Video with Motion Design

I was involved with filming editing, storyboards, animation and motion design. I can work with agencies and contractors (when there is a budget). I can also produce entire projects on my own.

A Television commercial I produced with a studio in Los Angeles.

For this video, I worked with our internal team to develop a script and storyboards, then I hired a team in Los Angeles for production. We filmed the entire commercial on a Saturday and had an early cut ready for our CEO on Sunday, to present at a conference. This video shows some BTS footage behind the finished spot.

Small Booklet for Business Development

Our sales team needed something different for conferences so I developed a small handout that gave an overview of our product. I was involved with creative direction, copywriting and concepts, and my design team created the illustrations and layout. This piece got us a lot of attention since we went with colorful illustrations instead of standard clinical imagery. See the booklet PDF here.

Interactive Digital Brochure

This is an interactive, digital-only brochure designed to guide the reader through the complex features of our product. I worked on concepts and strategy, our SVP, Marketing developed the content and our designer created the layout and interactive features.

Sales Strategy

Our sales team needed a takeaway for a trade show and we had very little to give out. Our product was difficult for people to comprehend so I created a box mockup with a printed brochure instead and a QR code to our website.

We printed about 200 of these and, since I am a print broker I was able to get us a great price, the cost per unit was very low.

It was a big hit for sales. people were curious about the boxes being handed out and we generated a bunch of qualified leads and great investor interest in our product.

Eventually we secured more than 20 million dollars for series C funding and around 10 million for series B before that.

AI Experiments

I’m not as worried about the use of AI as some people are. I do believe training the LLMs on artists’ IP should be compensated. I like to use AI as a tool to enhance my personal work. I usually have it transform one of my drawings, clone my voice, or make a presentation video like this one. For this example I used the Hey Gen platform to clone my voice and I created an avatar that (sorta) looks like me.
